What You Been Doing With Your Triumph Today

I had a run out on the tiger 660. Went down the a49 to the Raven (midway cafe) and then down the a41 before looping back via Adlum and Nantwich and over to J&S before heading home for some lunch.

Having had a buttie and a cup of tea I set off again in the sunshine; lovely short ride. :orange_heart:

It was more the circumstances feeling all cool having gone to the front to take off and beat the slow traffic   .

Yup. Know that feeling well :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Scratting around today in the Kendal/Bowness area looking for a Land Rover magazine (how hard can it be?)
Lovely ride around on Speedy with temp up to 15C😀
Stopped at Wilfs Cafe at Staveley where there were a few classic bikes parked up

Just a bit of repair work on the Trophy. 2 of the mounting tabs on the side panels have broken off over time. I bought some JB plastic weld and the bodywork is now hanging in the garage letting the stuff set hard. It’s the first time I’ve used it and found it very sticky so got it everywhere and will be needing to do some sanding of the excess off before refitting. :grimacing:

You should try it on a 20bhp 350, I keep filtering to the front of the queue out of habit. Then I get there and think ‘I’m probably not going to be able to outrun this car/van/lorry/bus if they go for it’!

Started today’s ride just after the frost melted, so was in my winter kit, but after a tank of fuel to go the scenic route to the Lincolnshire wolds and a lunch stop at Willingham woods I changed into my spring gloves. So with that fact, and the May blossom in the hedgerows and the bugs starting to splat themselves on my visor, I declare spring has definitely arrived

Had a great time exploring small country lanes along my route and the faster A and B roads that joined them up, and with the blue skies everything felt wonderful.

Used two tanks of fuel and satnav says I was actually riding 6h37m and have done 251 miles, probably right as it was out 9-to-5

Always (fashionably?) late to the party, me and SWMBO got out on our bikes for the first time this year. The track between garage and road was finally dry enough to get them out without getting covered in shite. Just a bimble up to Padstein, cost of living crisis doesn’t seem to be harming the tourist trade, it was packed.
SWMBO’s Striple required some persuasion to start even though kept on charge, 8 year old factory fitted battery (still has the vin warranty label on it) has seen better days, so Motobatt ordered and arriving Thursday.
Confession time - I used the B#W, the Speed3 is still sat in the corner of the garage sulking. :unamused:

Actually I just pinched the vicars parking spot…he usually leans his bike there…

Get yourself to Willingham Woods on a Sunday, there can be upwards of100 bikes on a really good sunny day.

There was about 30 there yesterday  (I usually avoid going for a ride on weekends because the roads are busier)
