On Monday I could install the new Motobatt battery in the Sprint ST 1050.
Check my optimate can handle AGM batteries.
And… + 0,5 V compared to the old battery !! Stronger start already. I’ll spend an extra 15 pounds to upgrade the cables anyway.

I was out and about on the Tiger yesterday exploring some different roads to usual. Although the roads around here are great with not much traffic, the scenery is a bit, well, flat - so not very photogenic. There’s only so many pictures of a Tiger in a lay-by that I want to post up

Commute today; eventful and very time - consuming way home.
I was about to leave but someone said the route I usually take was possibly blocked, so I decided just for once to do the motorway just to get back. I got the 20 miles down the M5 needed to join the M50…and the M50 was being closed for an incident, so I got waved on round the roundabout. Unable to stomach the 20 miles back up the M50 in rush hour as it is noisy, stinking, boring, full of lunatics etc etc I decided to do one more junction and come off at Tewkesbury, heading home via Evesham etc as the evening was nice. However it was still rush hour so pretty congested and slow - and added 46 miles to my usual route home 
. I would usually enjoy it, but have to admit I was pleased to finally get home…in hindsight repeating 20 miles back towards work on the M5 might have been better but I still would have had to find a way around the nightmare that end too . Still it was better than sitting in a car in traffic…

Not quite my Triumph yet, but my new Speed Twin arrived at the dealers this afternoon. I can’t pick it up until next week and the weather forecast is rain every day for the next week - typical! Hopefully they’re wrong, they usually are.
