What You Been Doing With Your Triumph Today

The bike’s looking good; the belly pan makes such a difference I think.

Shouldn’t take that long to fit a paddock stand… you already had the bobbins!

And it looks looks like someone stole the Ducati while they were busy with that paddock stand.

It took you two hours to roll that Ducati out of the way? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Maybe they converted the Duke into the paddock stand…

I booked a day’s leave today to generally get excited about my (now cancelled) little mini tour I had planned for myself this weekend. There was a small window of sunny / light showery weather this morning so I went on the bike to drop some new gloves I got free with my Roadskin jeans to their new owner (nice to pay things forward) and then just went for coffee. Only 30 or so miles but a nice little outing all the same. I took the Triumph because it was still at the front of the garage mainly .

A small group who arrived just after I did for coffee asked about my bike as two of them had considered a test ride on one. One of the others was adamant that it was a Tiger 660 :person_facepalming:.

Lonely little Striple (we were joined a few minutes later by a few other bikes):

I hope you explained to them just what an awesome bike it is :grinning:

Can you imagine me being anything less than enthusiastic about it?. It just never fails to make me smile. They probably regretted asking, but did say they were going to book that test ride when they got home.

Superb, job well done

Obviously. It looks JUST like one… :joy:

Yep…he was pretty adamant even when I told him what it was, kept calling it a Tiger and said he had had the 900 previously . They were a nice group actually but that bit was odd .

Maybe this had occurred earlier in the day…

Had a great day playing in the glens! Supercorsas are sublime when the weathers good! I actually stopped to harden up the suspension, thats a good thing! Normally have everything as soft as I can get and still sometimes want more. It’s so nice that this bike has got a good range of adjustment for real world riding. I reckon the warmer temperatures must have made a difference to the oil as it was wallowing in the corners a bit, but a few tweaks made it perfect

I must remember to bring visor wipes next time though

I could have canoed down some of our roads around here. Lucky you to get out. It remains shocking here and the forecast shows little improvement…

It’s been great all week and it was forecast to turn bad this weekend. But as usual they can’t seem to get an accurate forecast beyond a day or 2. So I milked it and had a great afternoon. Hopefully it’ll turn for you soon :crossed_fingers:

Looks half decent for me next week :+1:

Avoided the coronation with a run to Whitby.
Lots of bikes around but the roads were even more quiet than usual.

Celebratory pint at the local when back. :sunglasses:
