Either that or he doesn’t want anyone knowing he knows you
Either that or he can’t remember if he torqued them up properly and should the worst happen theres no invoiced evidence
Since replacing the front 2 pot caliper with a 3 pot Nissin the braking is stronger now bedded in, very pleased with the upgrade.Pete.
How the feck did you win the “ Nice Guy” Award last year? Did no one else enter …,?
Bribery works well I find
Rode up the coast to the Byre at Bootle for a very tasty brie and cranberry toastie Then over Birker Fell, which is always a treat, back home through Torver and Greenodd. That road was packed
Phone photos only, never even took my helmet off!
Doe’s anyone remember those large springs that were fitted over the exhaust down pipes ? What were they called ? haven 't seen them for many years. ?
I certainly remember them from the 1970s, generally fitted to home made cafe racers. Supposed to help exhaust cooling, just like alloy bacon slicers were supposed to cool brake drums. My bullshit radar was quite well developed even then: I was never tempted. Also obvious rust traps.
As Dave said though I thought they were to disperse heat to stop the downpipes going blue, or sumfink
Must have been tricky eating yer Brie and Cranberry toastie with yer helmet on….!
A ten inch tongue comes in handy
Ah , that explains your award from last year…!
Been 10 days since last ride, which is the point I start getting (more) grumpy and irritable so took advantage of the summer that seems to have finally arrived for a couple of days.
Could only do a few hours in morning due to family commitments but tomorrow is looking very good too (if perhaps too hot) so will make a full day of it up the Peak District
WOT, NO WOOLY BROWN MOUSE?
#robbed?
