Yamaha 6000 mile service turned out to be expensive

Don’t start…

You win! I’m 5.2mile

Especially on a cold, damp morning…

Never broken down on an Italian bike of any age, true story

And it’s mostly downhill! (To the Carding Shed, not Guzzi ownership )

Neither have I… but being fair, you’ve ridden more than I have :+1::grin::+1:

Well I’ve got to take my hat off to Mrs W, recently her driving licence returned after an address change with an incorrect A category applied, she was intending to start riding this year so it seemed like a gift from heaven. I told her we’d put her through all the training, then just buy her a bike and not bother with the test. After a few weeks of soul searching she said that she would feel a fraud and wanted to do things “properly” so she’s just put a deposit on this.

I’m a honda phobic but she wanted something reliable and something she could get her money back on and I couldn’t argue either case

Good luck to Mrs. W!
Those bikes live almost as long as Keith Richards :grinning:

Doing it “properly” is definitely the right thing to do.

Best of luck to her, I’m sure she’ll be fine and hopefully enjoys it.

Good for her and great choice of reliable and re sellable bike. My first 125 was a Honda after my CBT
