Finally just about finishing another long term restoration for a chap. It’s good to stand back and just look at all the work that went in it. Customer to build up thank goodness
Looks to be a fantastic bit of work. Rounds of applause from me, good job that man…
It’s a ground up and customer is a fantastic rivit counter!! Bet it’s cost £25k so far
The sun is shining and spring has sprung in Cheshire. Just waiting for the inevitable frost to take the blossom off our magnolia tree lol
Beautiful magnolia.
And you’ve cut your lawn…….! My magnolia has no flowers at all yet and my grass hasn’t been cut… I’m well behind….!
You truly are behind mate. Yesterday was my second time cutting the grass this year.
Done mine twice too
My lawns are a jungle because been busy being ill and decorating. Now I have to go to Portugal for a week.
To be fair, I’ve got my excuses….!
Can’t blame me for the tree though…!
We live up in The Chiltern Hills and we are always a bit behind ( in many things !…) oop here.
When I used to go into London on work duties, the Magnolia’s in town were always months ahead of ours.
Struggled first cut of mine couple of days ago, still too wet really, clogged the mower every bag full.
Bit of an insult to “lawns” really, nothing level and 50% moss.
On the plus side it’ll be full of wild primrose and bluebells soon.
I could do mine with scissors in half an hour …
Have gone low maintenance in the back
“ garden” …
Decking and shingle.
We travel a lot so the less we have to look after the better …!
Are you there for the MotoGP…?
Looks lovely…!
Not for the GP. Didn’t realise it was on until I came to set up my recorder for it on the TV.
Church Cove - Gunwalloe
Stopped raining for a while yesterday so off walking a bit of coast path. A stretch runs beside Mullion golf club, loads of folk batting, such a strange pass time
Not as strange as being a batter, paying your subs but not being able to play because the pitch is closed
Sorry, may I ask where you live (country)? Just as we have had a red-throated diver couple (several summers) on our small lake/bigger forest pond (which is totally on my parent’s lands). That bird is fully protected here. So rare.
In Finland’s bigger lakes you can opposite see this one (again fully protected):
’
Plus in my understanding, there are a few other similar species (in North America) … all together about 5 (and all living in Arctic areas). Those are some of the oldest bird species still alive. The living relics from ancient times.
