Bummer, I broke a tooth last week (wed) and managed to get seen on monday this week. It’s not like it used to be, phone up in the morning for a same day emergency appointment. However I didn’t mind as I was not in pain.
Have you tried something like sensodyne rapid relief toothpaste? I find if I can get past the pain of application it can numb the tooth for a few hours. Hope you can get the pain under control.
Today I have mostly been making arrangements for a bike weekend away with mrs. V.
We’re off Saturday morning to the Eiffel region in Germany, back on Monday.
Little dog will be staying with the neighbours.
Tigger will be sulking, Speed Triple is coming for this trip.

My old Dental Practise is missing a vital ingredient, a Dentist!
So I went to a new Dentist last week.
She did things to me.
I had the afternoon off work today, much needed as I worked last weekend and am working this weekend. Went out for about 85 miles on the Street Triple on my definition of a hoon - to @Andyc1 it would likely have been very steady, I didn’t even destroy the rear tyre in the process .
Commuted on the Blade yesterday so it was the Striple’s turn…plus the Blade gets HOT !

Hope you get the pain under control soon; I hadn’t appreciated how awful dental pain could be until my episodes this year!!
I was pleased they could get me in so quickly TBH, although it’s with another dentist in the samevpractice I’ve not seen before. They could have got me in tomorrow but I’m playing in a batting open so can’t let the others down inc SWMBO and I didn’t fancy turning up for that after being in the torture chamber if things get a bit messy so happyish to keep taking the tablets and go Friday when I have the rest of the day free.

Ta for the suggestion, I use the normal sensodyne toothpaste so is the rapid stuff significantly better?
IMHO, yes, noticeably. I suffer a bit and it’s my go to solution. I also use normal sensodyne when things are not sore.
Fair enough. I had to see a different dentist to get in as soon as I did as well.

Last time I had toothache, I found that paracetamol & codeine tablets helped a lot.
Brandy or wkiskey neat, swirl it round yer gums

I forgot to mention, but if you go for rapid relief you’ll see it recommends putting some on a finger and rubbing it into the tooth for a couple of minutes. I take things for granted sometimes and forget others may not know this.
