Today I’ve been fixing my car by screwing some wood to it.

I’m using the word ‘fix’ here in the sense of ‘to make immovable’ as that’s what I’m trying to do to the passenger door window after the Bowden cable that moves it broke and jammed up with it in the open position. It was a right bugger getting access and trying to deal with the curved nature of the glass and runner.

I’m doing this bodge as I don’t want to waste time and money on the car. Such precious resources are reserved for motorcycles :smiley:

Covid the 3 of us at home since Monday. Not too bad, I can work.
Happy to have it now and probably be safe for my annual UK travel mid December.
Sunderland, Newcastle, and a few days in Birmingham.

Today I booked our ferry for the Tits Up Tour of Holland: 2024. As usual the Dutch round of MotoGP is in June next year…
