Yes, it was.
I have no recollection of it. I was born just after they returned to UK.
So looking on the bright side…
We get 1 hour less rain today.
A post was merged into an existing topic: What have you done to to your non Triumph today
Congrats with dad!
When I bought the Striple in 21 it needed the flyscreen to finish off the nacelle. Why they never OE fitted it is a mystery. Anyway the OE price was about a ton. One of my sons found a far east copy for less than twenty. So certainly worth a try.
Is that the bait?
Another fine day for a ride today.
I used to like watching storm waves crashing over the promenade in Penzance. Something to do while waiting for the chippy to fry a bit of haddock.
This kept me entertained for a few minutes.
Got a bit more professional since Garner’s time!
(what a bit of cash can do)
That’s a very cool drone flight.
Basically, you would have to walk the drone through the route marking probably thousands of waypoints and when complete you can get the drone to retrace its exact route at a specified speed, or even vary the speed between individual points. Something of that sophistication would take ages to setup! Well worth the effort though.
Went to St. Ives in the car, mistake, forgot it’s still Easter holidays. All the carparks full so resorted to the rugby club carpark. My aging lungs struggled to cope with the walk back up. Must remember my bus pass in future.
Had a little circular ride out today stopping at Shobden airport. The young lady serving behind the counter was very pleasant, she even tried to give me change for £10 instead of a fiver which I naturally declined. She said they’d been very busy today too and there were a few small groups of adventure bikers leaving as I arrived, with quite a few people sat outside now the weather is finally improving.
I love Shobdon .
Agree, it’s a great place to chill out for a couple of hours in the sunshine, cup of coffee, bacon sarnie, phone on silent…
Much better than The Food Stop at Bridgenorth (IMO) I avoid that place at all costs.
I agree, but there is always a good crowd to chat to at The Food Stop. Shobdon is a bit more upmarket, for the discerning gentlemen (and ladies).
