Had a little ride to the dealer’s to drop off the navsat mount and optimate leads off Jefta’s Striple to be fitted on the new Trident.

Had a short cycle ride locally to turn my legs over.

Putting a few more running-in miles on my Speed 400 with a ride over the Campsies to the popular bike stop at Aberfoyle.
I had a cuppa and the biggest blueberry muffin I’ve ever seen in the new cafe there, always a good stop off point at the foot of The Dukes Pass.

I’ve done some mechanic!! 400 cc single cylinder.
Bought “non running” for cheap, very clean, not used a lot. The guy told me he was good at mechanic and tried different things but…
Carb out, cleaning. Found the issues (electro valve needed a clean), some bits were missing (carb trigger, blade belt tensionner).
3 hours, 20 bucks in bits later It rides like a dream.

…taking the car to the garage for them to investigate why I’m getting slight steering vibration over 60mph. So far all they’ve discovered is that there isn’t a locking wheel nut socket in the car.
