Not good. Best wishes. Heres to a speedy recovery.
Best wishes for her Wim. They did that to me-when my cast came off the rush of blood to my leg almost made me pass out!
Jefta had the same experience - also the relief was instant…
Had a solo ride up over Shap to Penrith, along A66, brew at the Filling Station in Keswick (has to be done) then over to Whitehaven to pick up the coast road back to home. Caught up a guy on. Honda 1000 of some description and we enjoyed a “spirited” ride for about 30 miles . I must have imagined the whole thing though as there are no photos
Alright this time of year!
I went over it (on the old A6) in the early 70s in the snow, driving a Reliant 3-wheeler. The two rear wheels followed the two ruts in the snow OK. The central front wheel, however, had a harder time…
I’ve been stuck in the snow 200 yards from the summit of Kirkstone, coming from Ullswater heading back to Troutbeck… Had to turn around and get back via Shap…
That’s a helluva detour
No such worries today, it was a balmy 17 Deg this morning
That’s what my little Peugeot 205 thought too!
Vulpes / Mrs Vulpes. So sorry to read this news and i do pray all is well on the recovery side. I send my blessings.

See your point there mate and feel sorry for all bikers. Motorhomes and caravans every where and some drivers who need extra lessons.
Cheers brother!
I’ve been in receipt of the dark side! Hopefully a short time, minimal effort, rat bike turn around. I have no money in it, only what I spend to get it running well enough to sell it on! Any profit… in the pocket! Kinda job!
It is a shithole bike
The dash clocks look huge!
Honda had some visually challenged designers back in the Eighties
I’ve had some of those shithole bikes. Not quite like that one but poo none the less…
This is one in a Brazilian!!! Not even truly slap- happy!!
I think it’s the weird angle… but they isn’t in the Metropolitan Museum for Art, that’s for sure!
Made me LOL catching sight of the Hawk alarm fitted.
Somebody once thought the bike needed a theft deterent.
It’s not an alarm, it’s a cry for help.
