Today I have mostly been

Today I have mostly been trying to renew my Broadband/TV/Mobile contracts. This morning on the phone to a “gentleman” for over an hour, this afternoon another hour or so with another person attempting to correct the pigs ear mess this mornings guy created.
BT is in the process of migrating “home” BT users to new EE contracts, my experience so far is they haven’t got a clue what they’re doing (leaving their customers equally confused). :rage:

Edit: But tomorrow should be wonderful!
Getting my ear wax microsuctioned.
How many of us bikers have ear wax problems? I reckon wearing ear plugs is saving my hearing but causing wax blockage issues.

(I was also wondering what the nurse does with all that wax. Side line in candles perhaps? :joy:)

You know peeps someone out there will love the old bike

@Octoberon, is there a ‘too much information’ category?

You know that has never bothered. Every one who looks in my ears say they can see right through to the other side. I know as there is nothing between them. That’s what makes me a biker at 66. No sense at all

And I haven’t even started on my prostate… (yet)

55… three times my mental age

I think we’re all like that. When my late mum reached her 90s, she told me she was still only 18 in her head. I quite understood what she meant.

Making a spacer…

took ages with a drill and some files…

To keep the airfilter from hitting the carb.

The bug eye cover instead of the moon filter suits the AMF better. The zorsts wrap is still under consideration though

I’ve also been cutting some 1970 BSA Lightning pistons and conrods in half, longways, which takes a surprisingly long time and loads of elbow grease.

Working Overtime to pay for the, exhaust guard, indicator, mirror, Engine guard, bar end, R and G bobbin. after I dropped the bike, zero MPH turning with my feet down, fell over really. What a moment. Got off lucky, I think, or it could have been worst.1st time in a long time.
