Today (well yesterday actually) I was mostly stood in a queue at Argos. Firstly to pick up a new laptop that I got on a decent deal as my okd Lenovo is on it’slast legs and can’t be “upgraded” to Windows 11, then stood in it again an hour later when the queue was even longer as it crashed part way through set up to take it back after contacting their “help” desk online… Girl behind the till said she could do a full refund, give me a voucher (why would I want one of those when I’d paid on my card)) Or order me another in because they didn’t have it in stock. I’ll have the last option please. Ah computer says no as there’s none showing in stock says she. Bu88er. So went home looked online for the same laptop elsewhere and guess what Argos came up.in the search and it allowed me to order another so we’ll see if one actually turns up next week.

Hate queueing these days… really impatient for that kind of time wasting… I often buy refurbed computer stuff from here. (I think someone on this forum or the last put me onto it)

My last Macbook Pro was a refurb. It’s a good way to save a few quid and I’ve only just retired it as a second machine as it also ran Windows. Don’t need that now that VMWare Fusion is free - hoorah!
The Admin Staff has said that my computer isn’t gonna be supported for much longer and that I will need a new one soon. So I looked up VMWare Fusion and it said it is a line of Desktop Hypervisor products - so I gave up.
I’ll let the Admin Staff sort it.

No photos, so to the doubters… it didn’t happen, but honest gov. I took the Yam for quick stretch of legs. Avoided descending moisture, but the dirty stuff ligging on the floor has made a mess of the bike that I’ll have to clean orf soon.

Yeah, the garage has recently only been used to access frozen food stuffs… I heard a disgruntled Harumph from the corner whilst fettling Christmas lights, so had to go pay some overdue attention.
