Tbh a Wildcat is just a repurposed Lynx, they’ll just never admit to it I’ve seen some of your work then, looks great
I’ve never seen my brother rubbing a wild cat under his arm first thing in the morning…
I tried that with our cat and he certainly went wild.
Took my mother a walk… skies like the Ukrainian flag… gotta be one of the nicer days of the year up here.

Wonderful to have something from a relative. History in your hand and an absolute joy.
I think you really ought to have a Brough too (just to complete the history of the family).
Try the AMB001 (I don’t like it but it would be a good investment methinks) to bring the collection up to date.
Maybe a ‘Family Heirlooms’ thread is in order?
Just beautiful!
It’s a real chance for the families that can have such objects from history.
In our family unfortunately nothing was kept.
My grandfather did the “debarquement de Provence” and headed to Paris in the Sherman. Nothing left from that.
My old man had more medals that an African dictator, and as he fully retired from army at 48 years old, he gave everything to collectors… Nothing left apart his red beret and his commando instructor sign. A bit sad indeed.
As he passed away, due to his military records he should have the french flag on the coffin… but due to covid restriction, the flag had to be folded (never understood why). Sad until the end
