It’s not that grim up north.
Oh yes it is…
But what we’ve mostly been doing is booking a warm holiday in Feb to escape the cold. Vietnam and Thailand.
And the golf clubs are coming with us….I wonder what “Fore !” is in Vietnamese…?
“phía trước”… Don’t ask me to pronounce it…
Too long. If you want people’s attention just shout “Gary!”
Dealing with the ongoing saga of my poorly parents and their care, then got a message from my regular biking buddy saying he can’t drive for 6 months after passing out over the weekend
Happy freaking New Year!
Sorry to hear it buddy… having poorly parents can be quite heart rending… wishing you and them all the best!
Thanks pal. It’s inhumane seeing them go through this knowing they don’t want to be alive
I am sorry; it must be unimaginably difficult.
Very difficult @Dawsy .
You have my sympathies.
I’ve been through it with both my parents and it’s a tough time.
That’s awful, my thoughts are with you, your parents and wider family.
Thanks all. Wouldn’t be so bad but they fight my wife and I at every turn by refusing to accept help, saying they are managing, then the slightest problem, they ring us in a panic.
Never been really close either, especially my dad, which makes it tougher.
Sorry to be a mood hoover!
Don’t be - I know from experience it’s good to get things off your chest.
So sorry to hear your parents are poorly. Lost both mine so know exactly how you are feeling. It is a very difficult time mate, but you will get through it.
Riding to, and from work in the foggy, drizzly dark…. But, there was a hint of daylight creeping in around the edges this morning!!!
Yeah was a miserable cycle into Barrow this morning (well, even more so than usual)
