In exactly one week, our daughter and an englishman will marry there, in the Alps.
The weather forecast is really bad, rain every single day of the week, temperatures fall down to a maximum 13°c. No pb, we’ll face that and organize.
After the wedding, I gonna sleep way better

We were outside tidying out a van this morning when this year’s first house martins arrived, soaring and swooping around the house and checking out last year’s nests under the eaves. All the way from Africa, and they obviously knew exactly where they were going. It’s always a thrill to see them every spring, and they are about 10-14 days earlier than usual this year. Soon the geese will leave their winter quarters on the merse for their long flight to Svalbard for the summer.
