ducatitotriumph You still in hospital, any word on getting out?
That other biker really did a job on you, great that you’re home now. Have the boys in blue been around yet? What happened to the eejit that hit you?
Looks like a leg to me!
Some serious bruising there too. Look after yourself, hope you have good pain meds
Workshop/garage really needs a bit of a clean so bikes are sitting out in the sun today
Grinding, sanding really makes a mess of everything. It’s gonna be an all day job
The chop isn’t looking good as it’s been ignored. It’s not happy as there was a 10p spot of oil on the floor but it’s on the list for a rewire/rebuild/repaint.
Not been around yet but ive messed them as they wanted to know when im home etc.
I took the pics down as we all know what happens when shit happens so apologies for posting pics. It was wrong.
Now, insurers…
Always your choice what to share. Don’t worry.
That bike looks so good with the red and white tank.
Managed to get away for a couple of days down Devon way this weekend.
Lots of cars and caravans on the roads though, must be a Bank Holiday or something.
May be this guy was the artist (one of my local beaches - vehicles not allowed).
Kwality art
@ducatitotriumph we have been away so I missed your post - I can only join everyone else in wishing you a swift and smooth recovery.
I was actually saying to Helmut the other day that the amount of motorcyclists that come head on at you on your side of the road at speed seems to have increased hugely . I am more than sorry that you couldn’t manage to avoid the particular idiot that you collided with.
Three of us rode up to Newby Hall, near Ripon, this morning for the Italian Cars and Bikes show. I say ‘show’, it was a big area of aristocracy land on the estate
Can’t say there were any Triumphs (unsurprisingly) but we’re all friends on two wheels, right?
Lovely Jota
The owner wasn’t around or I might’ve asking him to start it up.
Do I detect an unseemly lack of sympathy for the BMW driver?
Knob of the week, perhaps?
Wow! I wish you a fast recovery.
I met the BMW cock of the week near Chester. Can’t believe there could be 2 of them
I very nearly met one head on in my then Ford Transit a few years ago. He was overtaking on a blind corner. Braking very hard, we just stopped about three feet apart. His wife sat there shaking her head in disbelief - he obviously made a habit of it. I bet he got serious earache afterwards.
I wouldn’t believe it if there were ONLY two of them…
