What have you done to your non Triumph today

That all sounds very familiar “Ducati” from my experience with the 2013 Multistrada I had for a couple of years. Hopefully they’ve learnt to put a few more buttons on the bars these days.
To save a dedicated Hazards switch you had to hold left indicator for 3 seconds, trouble was they missed a line of code to reset the counter after each indicator operation. So depending how long a dab you used at left turns you’d typically get the hazards coming on at every tenth or so left turn give or take a few. We sussed the problem on the owners forum in a week or two, but took 18 months to convince Ducati and get it fixed. Obviously Italians don’t use indicators! :joy:

Then there’s all the “hold the indicator to the right / left whilst pressing x or y button for two seconds to achieve z…”. I am sure I’ll figure it all out, but I entered a large roundabout in touring mode, wondered why it suddenly felt sluggish as I changed lane and saw it was in urban, then took off at the exit in sport

Maybe I’ll just channel my inner Italian and use the horn and ignore the indicators…

Fortunately most the time SWMBO was following and would warn me when the hazards kicked in so I could cancel quickly. Was quite dangerous, confusing other road users around.

That’ll probably do something else, you just haven’t found out yet.

About the only thing I didn’t activate were the hazard lights…as far as I know…(if I even have them, must look!).

Well it was certainly loud in the confines of the busy dealership when I confidently pressed it, thinking it was a different button…

Ah, technical progress. Funnily enough, my 46 year old Italian V twin (Moto Guzzi) doesn’t have any of those problems…

Raximo adjustable levers fitted onto the Hyperstrada today. The stock levers were an enormous stretch for me, particularly the clutch as it did not have an adjustment available. The difference feels amazing; I have these on every bike now but they’re a game changer for this one and the Fireblade.

Oh look. They’re red…

FYI the levers on my other two have not a hint of red :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. Little bit of green on these too…Italian vibes .

I just give homes to those red bikes that aren’t to everyone’s taste. An act of charity, if you will.

I donned my thermals, waited for the temperature to climb to the dizzy heights of 3c and went to Shobdon and back for a coffee on my new ride…only done 300 miles on it so far since I got it on 01st February in very cold and gloomy weather, but it’s shaping up to be a huge amount of fun :slightly_smiling_face:.

I have new number plate to fit as well as this one is enormous!

I had to nip in to the office to collect another laptop today. I did contemplate taking the bike but chickened out. So well done, you.

New bike day for me yesterday with a cold and wet 90 minute ride from Cheltenham to Mid-Wales. The bike did not disappoint with comfort all the way, the heated grips were a life saver and the bike handled perfectly with a nice subtle power delivery for a 1200.

I washed it down quickly last night, with a proper clean today and then I started becoming more familiar with my new toy. :star_struck:

They’re a decent bunch at Cotswold, I’ve bought 2 bikes off them now. Did Guesty relieve you of your money?
