What You Been Doing With Your Triumph Today

The guy that did the service said you only have to look at my bike to realise it’s sound. As you say, it’s your own backside at risk.

Does it sound more like B & D???

Some more miles on the Scrambler 400 today, it’s up to 595 now and booked in for its 600 mile first service on Friday. I’m looking forward to being able to explore the upper reaches of the rev band. This bike continues to impress.

So I’ve been ignoring my carburettor duties so far (for the rat bike) and have been sorting out a new amp and pedal board for the little bit of guitar I play… no pics, just thought I’d let you know

I actually have space for an eq pedal… though I’m having to be careful with the dosh at the moment, I have a rat bike to do up!

(ProGuitarShop do a great review of the 2 stroke, wish I could play like him… no pick either :flushed:)

I had a run to Sleep Airport today. Lovely bacon buttie and a brew watching the light aircraft landing and taking off.
The roads were dry and it was quite warm as well. What is not to like :slightly_smiling_face:

Proper tourist today. 7.00 am start for a run around the south Lakes and then the train from Haverthwaite to Lakeside.

Allowed to park the bike by the engine shed - exclusive spot just for me.

Boat to Bowness - last done when I was twelve probably.

Had the 600 mile service done on the Scrambler this afternoon and borrowed a 660 Trident. I’m potentially interested in a light tourer next year and the Tiger 660 could be an option. I thought the Trident was a nice bike, but a bit bland. The engine was nice and smooth and the performance was good enough. I need to try the Tiger version but the dealer didn’t have one.

The instrument pack looks cheap and cheerful - okay I suppose on a Trident or Tiger Sport 660, but the fact they are putting it on the Speed Twin just annoys me even more now :rage: It really is completely out of place on a retro bike. What were they thinking!?
