It’s always a sad day when this happens
I’m looking forward to Spring already

Certainly for Tiger and Trident Steve. If we get a nice day I can always drag the Speedy out. The former two we can’t ride until March 1st, due to insurance limitations.
We had a dry if not cool today (circa 8c), so I went out on the tiger. No photos as it was too cold to get off the bike and get my phone out.
Not been out for over a week, so great to be back on the bike.
Not sure how many more days we are going to get now before spring.
I was going to go the the Baffle Haus today, but set out fairly late because I was on nights last night. By the time I got halfway there, the weather had turned very, very grey and misty and drizzly, so I stopped at the GV Cafe in Pontrilas for a coffee and came back home. Very short and sweet, only 31 miles .
I made it to the Baffle Haus today…only four bikes there…mostly cars. Nice ride out, even if the roads are a bit of a state . Only about 70 miles done, but good for the soul, still.
Blimey, that is keen. Well done ! Not sure I will be out before mid March !
Haven’t ridden my bike since end of September
As long as I have a zillion layers on then I’m happy. A friend captured this photo of me as I was about to get on my bike.
I hope your wind turbines are working well Wim….
Realised that the tax had run out on the Street Triple at the end of November, so took the opportunity to renew it. I’ll mainly use the Transalp through winter but should enough sunny days, like today, to get the Triple out.
I will take pictures just to make you “store in a bag” boys jealous.
Best time to visit Staithes is in winter, way too crowded in summer, and you can sneak down to the harbour to park. (Public car park is at the top of the hill).
6 degrees but still happy in riding jeans (with base layer) and my summer boots
You’ll have to try harder than that, especially when wearing pink laces
Says the man with his bike in a bag…
The “try harder than that” was in reference to making me jealous
And as far as the bag is concerned I blame @Wessa as he told me about them
Yeah they do look pink in that light but they’re more of a shitty brown to be honest
And they are brilliant
You should make a video of how you get your bikes into them… must be a bit like changing a duvet cover…?
If you have enough space to put the bag in it’s final position and suspend it with some ties and grips from the rafters of the garage roof it’s like one of those bike tents you can get so is relatively simple to do. I’m awkward because I’ve not got enough room to do that so have to do it in stages, starting with the bag rolled up at the open end of the bag, pushing the bike in, then putting it on the centre stand and then unrolling the bag past the back of the bike. It’s easier doing it to the RS rather than the GS but still needs some planning!
Today I’ve not been bagging my Triumph
Rather, as forecast was for 10°C with sunny bits I got out for a few hours riding.
Toes were nice and toasty with new heated socks on low, but I guess it wasn’t actually that cold as I didn’t even need heated grips on. Well, that was until hands got cold when I took gloves off to eat my pasty and take a photo
It was also 10 degrees and dry in my part of the world, so I managed to get out and about on the 400 Scrambler this morning. I had a spot in mind that I was going to stop and take a picture but when I got there it was such a muddy mess that I didn’t bother!
