Chilly but lovely autumnal day today, so had to take advantage.
Lovely bike!
Did the bridge hold up?
Given that Triumph have just launched an Evel Knievel Rocket 3 edition, I thought I’d get in the spirit of things and jumped clean over it.
Jeeez, whatever next, JCB will be bringing out an Eddie Kidd digger
Today I’ve been getting fed up with my Triumph. By now I’m used to a major fault per year, but on today’s ride I seem to have hit my 3rd of 2024 when engine began running extremely badly.
I’m sorry to hear that you are again having problems. I hope it is any easy fix mate.
What have I been doing with my Triumph?
Appearing in the January 2025 issue of Motorcycle Sport and Leisure magazine!
It’ll be out soon…
Great. Well done you, really nice to see.
Yes, congratulations.
Fame, probably not fortune from it though . Great to see
.
I hope you remembered to give us a plug!
Yesterday spotted a day without strong winds, heavy rain, snow…
That was damn good to ride.
I get a year’s free magazine subscription!
That’s pretty good .
Yesterday had a run into Shropshire. It was dry but the roads were a bit greasy. On the way home I stopped at Ma Bakers for a coffee and a bacon butty. Very nice
Midway was very quiet.
At least you got out Steve. Tiger and Trident are laid up until March 1st now, due to insurance policy (I get a discount for that). But if we get a nice day Speedy is chomping at the bit to get out!
I’ve been on a 70 miles or so round trip to the Baffle Haus on my Striple; it was pretty busy but mostly with cars.
I should be awarded the internationally recognised Zen Service Medal for the pillock who pulled out on me forcing me to stop going round a roundabout and who then also slammed his anchors on directly in front of me , stalling, and started gesturing at me. I just took a nice calm breath and rode around him, no return gestures or other interaction made
.
Edited to add that I also hit a squirrel; my wildlife interactions continue
.
Is that you for the winter then Wim ?
