Had a bit of snow here too this morning but the temperature is rising and there’s some rain so it was gone by mid-day. I’m sorta regretting not getting out for a ride this afternoon, though the weather is running about 6 hours late for that: forecast says 10°C by midnight but the dropping to around freezing in the morning where it’s staying for a week. :frowning: I reckon the only thing I’ll be doing with my Triumph is putting the battery on charge, just to make sure.

My daughter-in-law is Welsh from the valley’s in the south, and hence my three grandsons all being named after famous welsh men; Dylan, Owain and Evan lol

I had a quick 70 or so miles to the Baffle Haus and back. Lovely ride even if the roads were filthy and greasy, it was just nice to get out. Not so lovely was the length of time it has just taken me to sort the bike out afterwards :tired_face:

Yes a big job cleaning after a ride at this time of year. I’m going to wait until we have had some rain to wash away the salt before I venture out.

I was going to, but it seems like there’s no rain in the near future. Can’t tell you quite how much cold water went onto the bike because I was paranoid about salt…

I had my bike treated professionally with ACF50 before the winter set in, but like you I’m paranoid about the salt, so will wait a bit longer before I ride.
