Not really today but this week - still over in Bolton-le-Sands on Tuesday, so went to my first bike night of the year at Wildlife Oasis Cafe near Milnthorpe.

Huge turnout of all sorts - must be something to do with the weather!

Next day breakfast at Half Moon Bay Cafe, Heysham - unacceptably served on a paper plate!

Cheers Steve. Sounds like a plan :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s worked for me for the past three years!

First time out with the mesh jackets for '25. That seemed pretty early to me.
Just out to a reserve for a walk.

Quick spin up the coast to Bootle and back while Mrs D was out walking. Much cooler than Thursday was.

Sunny but single digits temperature wise this morning with cloud forecast this afternoon, so decided to make the most of things and put my thermals on for a few hours riding in the morning. For a change I went in the less interesting direction and rode through west Leicestershire lanes with satnav set for the Triumph factory as a destination.

Got some refreshments at the factory cafe and chatted with some random bikers. Then, as weather was still good, I programmed a random loop home which first headed further west, cutting through some other shires, namely Warwick, Stafford and Derby. About 45 minutes of that was on on unfamiliar roads, so even though I was only travelling by flat fields and through small villages it felt like an enjoyable adventure. Weather certainly helped that.

Love it, yes I really do love electrics! I’m jealous when it’s clean and all laid out

Are you definitely talking about electrics or is there some other thing that you like clean and laid out …..? :innocent:

Excellent ride up the coast to Bootle and back over Birker Fell today avoiding the crammed Lake District. Bit cool to start with but soon warmed up and where the roads were empty the riding was "enthusiastic"

Couple of brews at one lads house then home and washed (me and bike)

I’ve been fiddling with this trio today, in the hope of better mid-Wales weather for biking tomorrow :crossed_fingers:
