The National Trust cottage with the spinning gallery was home to a friends grandma (Peggy Myres) for many a year when I was in short britches. I’ve spent hours crawling through the large concrete drain pipes; up in the big dub; in the copper mine ruins etc. love it up there

What you may have missed is that the English tabloids have been trying to make a culture war out of the decision of the Brecon Beacons national park authority to change its name to the Welsh equivalent. How dare Welsh people in Wales adopt a Welsh name which English people don’t know how to pronounce?
