Saturday evening was ok. Food was excellent etc. It was gala type of event.

If Finns (men) will try to talk you Swedish (sweating at the same time, as that being difficult) … you have made an impact somehow :innocent:

Yesterday/Sunday was Mother’s Day and I was busy making filled cake:

The weather is finally warming here day by day. End of the week we might first time even pass +25C :upside_down_face:. No rains either. I’m riding to work now everyday.

I’d say you’ve earned some good weather. How far is your ride to work?

18km one direction (= 36km total/day). Boring road

Plus I have electric bicycle. I made 3 years deal (36 months installment). I will pay 70%, my employer will pay 15% and nation the rest 15% (compensating via my taxes). I have used that some times last year/summer.

Just got my Road 6’s fitted.
The stripes even match my wheels :grinning:

Snap!

Fitted mine last week for ireland trip, never had 6’s but had a few 5’s. The 5’s always felt a bit nervous to me at full lean but these 6’s seemed to have improved on that.

One thing I did notice is there are no painted marks on the sidewall, first time I noticed a tyre without them, normally they should line up with the valve stem to aid balancing?

What’s this Ireland trip? :joy:

Recovering from a huge gig weekend. Saturday morning 7:30 am, load stuff, gather the band (apart the drummer who is… my son and live there).
Drive 6 hours in a crappy van to Salers (Cantal). Wonderful area, a village lost between le Puy de Dome and les Cevennes.
Meet the other bands, soundcheck, play in front of a full attendance, enjoy the other bands. Sleep in a nice wooden house surrounded by long hair cows (Salers cows), drive back home thinking I’m too old for that… and change my mind as another gig proposal comes up

I’ve visited Salers several times (stayed at Hotel Des Remparts), always been VERY quiet evenings, I’m guessing it wasn’t this weekend. :joy:
Memories of many Swallows/Swifts and a spooky evening vibe, expecting Dracula around every corner.
Beautiful ancient village and surrounding countryside. :+1:

I’m thinking going back to Salers, then Espalion and down to les Cevennes in August. No music involved, just a trip with madame.
I really like the atmosphere you talk about.
As nothing really happens in that area, I think the whole village and surrounding were at the festival. On Sunday morning as we walked in the city to have a café on terrasse, some people recognized us :slightly_smiling_face:

After the concerts, some people asked the bands to sign posters, and my son (huge drummer) as an autist don’t cope with this unrequested attention. He finally signed with a “X”

I love “Les Cevennes”. Once stayed at a beautiful campsite near the pretty town of Anduze, on the banks of the Gardon. Gorgeous area.

Who’s rocking the tiny terror… great taste!

It’s not a Tiny, it’s a Dual Terror. That’s the spare amp if I blow up a tube on the 100 watter (already happened)

Mountain biking in glorious weather on a local loop. Some very random horses appeared, never seen horses there before.

Nice place for a break at the bottom of a great downhill followed by a bit of a climb :slightly_smiling_face:

Came across a huge bird of prey on the trail but by the time I got phone out it took off
